This guide is a directory of services offered in Washtenaw County. These include legal resources, English as a Second Language classes, human services, child care etc. The guide also contains substantial information about individuals' rights.

English Classes
The Washtenaw County Worker Center supports and works with the English as a Second Language program at the First United Methodist Church of Ypsilanti. Their curriculum involves teaching immigrants their rights as immigrants and in the workplace.
Proyecto Avance: Latino Mentoring Association (PALMA) offers one-on-one tutoring sessions twice a week to Latino families in Washtenaw County. University of Michigan students tutor and mentor K-12 students with their schoolwork and provide English as a Second Language instruction for adults. Tutoring sessions are held at the Ann Arbor Public Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm during the University of Michigan school year.
