The Washtenaw County Worker Center is a unique blend of the university and working communities of Washtenaw County. Our diverse membership includes local immigrant workers from multiple countries throughout the Western Hemisphere including Guatemala, Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Columbia, Nicaragua and more!

Our connection to the University of Michigan provides the Washtenaw County Worker Center with access to exceptional resources and a strong volunteer base.  Our volunteer base includes not only students from across the United States with various academic disciplines, but also university professors, researchers, and lawyers.

As members of the Washtenaw County Worker Center, the university and immigrant communities work together, educate each other, and stand united for immigrant and worker justice.
